Chicken Bolognese Recipe...

To me this is the super fast and the easiest recipe to prepare especially if you are on Sunday mood lazily enjoying your day dreaming things and the most important is my kid loves spaghetti very much. If i were to cook rice for lunch it's so hard  for him to finish even half of the plate.

Here is the recipe for Daddy, Mommy and Fareez for today's lunch  ;)

Enjoy the recipe ....

Ingredients :
3 tablespoon of vegetable oil

3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch cubes
or i used chicken minced meat super easy and fast! haha..

3 onion, chopped

2 clovesgarlic , finely chopped

1 small can of button mushrooms, get it chopped
1 medium size of carrot

Add a good slash of olive oil or you can just use normal oil, fry the onion and garlic until they start to turn lightly golden, add the minced chicken meat, you dont need  loads of meat for this, just a couple of slices will do, add carrot and button mushrooms and pour the delicious PREGO sauce or DOLMIO, give everything a stir , pinch of sugar and salt..okay almost done...finally get a large pan and cook pasta in a boiling water according to packet directions. It's done!!No parmesan, Oregano and parsley he won't eat that, hehe owh yes if you have more time serve on some toasted sourdough bread....enjoy my simple recipe! Owh he have just finished one big plate! I told you he love it! hehehe..I'm a happy Mommy :) tata! Wait for my next post! Nigella and Jamie at home !!!

Home-cooked meals are best! My Chicken Soup Recipe..

Hello everyone ..do you know that chicken soup is the best meal for soothing ills/cold/fever/flu??And how? why? Here is the info from what i've read...

"Why it’s a cold/flu fighter: When we have a cold or the flu, a major symptom includes congestion in the nose, chest, and throat. Chicken soup has specifically been shown in studies to thin mucus secretions. Broth and noodles provide carbohydrates for maintaining your energy levels, potentially helping you feel less lethargic. If you add vegetables, you’ll boost the level of nutrients in the soup, which will help support immune function. Slurp away on low-sodium soups that contain 30% less salt. You want the soup to contain some salt, though, because sodium helps regulate the amount of fluid in the body. Basically, the saltiness in soup may help encourage hydration....''

And i've cooked these for my lunch on Saturday....

Happy Cooking !

...owhh talking about chicken soup this is the article that i've just pluck from the net for my good reading today in the office- this was excerpt from the Chicken Soup for the Soul series as i keep forcing myself /dreaming to LOVE at WORK especially on MONDAY :)

From Chapter 1 - Love At Work
“Whatever you need”
by Martin Rutte

I was working as a consultant in a beer company, helping the president and senior vice-presidents formulate and implement their new strategic vision. It was an enormous challenge.
At the same time, my mother was in the final stages of cancer.
I worked during the day and drove 40 miles home to be with her every night. It was tiring and stressful, but it was what I wanted to do. My commitment was to continue to do excellent consulting during the day, even though my evenings were very hard. I didn't want to bother the president with my situation, yet I felt someone at the company needed to know what was going on. So I told the vice-president of Human Resources, asking him not to share the information with anyone.
A few days later, the president called me into his office. I figured he wanted to talk to me about one of the many issues we were working on. When I entered, he asked me to sit down. He faced me from across his desk, looked me in the eye and said "I hear your mother is very ill."
I was totally caught by surprise and burst into tears. He just looked at me, let my crying subside and then gently said a sentence I will never forget: "Whatever you need."
That was it. His understanding and his willingness to both let me be in my pain and to offer me everything were qualities of compassion that I carry with me to this day.

Happy Working!!!
